1. Accepting the terms
These terms apply whenever you access, create an address, or use a long-term workspace. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, stop using the service and delete any existing temporary inboxes. The handling of personal data is governed separately by the Privacy Notice; read both documents together.
2. Service scope and feature differences
Temporary inboxes require no registration, last 3 hours by default, and may be extended where the product allows, up to 24 hours total. Long-term workspaces verify your identity by email code and provide up to 100 aliases, email forwarding, 30-day history, and optional authenticator protection.
Neither feature is permanent mailbox hosting or a file-storage service. Specific interfaces, capacity, and security measures may change to support reliability and prevent abuse.
3. Eligibility and account control
You must have the legal capacity required where you live to enter into an agreement and use a receiving email address you are authorized to control. Long-term identity is based on the verified email; whoever can access that mailbox may control the associated workspace.
Do not impersonate another person’s email, bypass verification, or buy or sell workspace access. If control of your email or device is compromised, stop using the aliases immediately and contact support.
4. What is allowed—and what gets shut down
The service is designed to keep real email addresses private, isolate low-trust sign-ups, and manage long-term deliveries from different sources. This list is not exhaustive; the key consideration is whether conduct affects other people, systems, or lawful rights.
Acceptable use
- Create short-term receiving addresses for trials, downloads, or event registrations.
- Set up long-term entry points for different merchants or communities that can be paused independently.
- Test sending workflows for systems you are authorized to manage.
- Troubleshoot delivery and forwarding of legitimate messages.
Immediate shutdown
- Send spam, phishing content, malware, or harassing messages.
- Evade bans, register accounts in bulk, abuse promotions, or manipulate platforms.
- Impersonate others or violate privacy, copyright, or other legal rights.
- Probe, attack, overload, or resell unauthorized access to the service.
5. Technical and capacity limits
Some email systems may reject disposable domains, delay delivery, or alter message content; those actions are controlled by the other platform. Temporary email does not retain attachments, and messages over 100 MB are rejected. Long-term aliases forward and retain attachments up to 50 MB; messages from 50 MB to 100 MB are forwarded without retention.
Long-term messages over 100 MB are also rejected. Limits may be tightened temporarily because of security incidents, infrastructure capacity, or legal obligations; we will explain them in the product interface where possible.

6. Email content and third-party relationships
Emails are sent by third parties. You must ensure that you are authorized to receive, read, forward, and retain their content. FwdRelay does not endorse claims in emails and is not an agent of the sending website, merchant, or service.
Do not use this site to store unlawful content or infringe others’ rights. Upon receiving a valid rights notice or identifying clearly dangerous content, we may restrict access, preserve necessary evidence, and cooperate as required by law.
7. Tokens, verification codes, and authenticator responsibility
A temporary email token is the key to your inbox and should not be shared publicly. Never send verification codes or authenticator secrets to anyone. We will not request a complete verification code or current one-time code by support email.
Access resulting from voluntarily sharing credentials, using an untrusted device, or losing control of your receiving mailbox may not be reversible. Delete unused aliases promptly and enable an authenticator for sensitive long-term identities.
8. Service changes, maintenance, and interruptions
We may add, change, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, and legal compliance. We will give notice of planned maintenance when reasonably practicable, but emergency fixes may require no advance notice.
Internet transmission and other mail servers are outside our complete control, so we do not promise uninterrupted or zero-delay service. For critical accounts, payments, healthcare, or legal notices, use an email service with long-term recovery and human support.
9. Suspension, deletion, and termination
You may destroy a temporary inbox, delete a long-term alias, or stop using the service. We may suspend interfaces or terminate access for violations of these terms, security risks, valid legal demands, or prolonged inactivity.
Where reasonable and lawful, we will provide an explanation or an opportunity to remedy the issue. Serious abuse, attacks, or imminent risks may be handled immediately. After termination, limited records needed for legal, security, or dispute-handling purposes may be retained for an appropriate period.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided as available. We make reasonable efforts to maintain its functionality, but do not guarantee that every email will arrive, every external website will accept an address, or deleted data can be recovered. Timers, statuses, and diagnostics on the site provide operational information and are not promises of results.
Consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude remain unaffected. This section does not limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or matters that the law expressly prohibits excluding.
11. Limitation of liability and risk allocation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, data loss, missed notices, or unrecoverable accounts resulting from reliance on an expiring address. By choosing an expiring address for high-risk situations, you accept its inherent limitations.
If the law requires us to accept liability, it is limited to losses directly related to the dispute that were reasonably foreseeable. No limitation applies to types of liability that the law prohibits limiting.
